Subject Specialties
My specialty areas are those where I have experience not just as a writer or editor but in some other way as well. Currently, my specialty areas include:
- Psychology and Self-Help: I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and am a licensed professional counselor. I have worked and published in the field. I can work with self-help/popular psychology and books for professionals.
- Human Relationships: My background in counseling provides a foundation of knowledge here. This might be considered a subsection of psychology and would also include communication skills, which I taught for many years.
- Spirituality: I have broad personal experience here, have published articles and books on this subject, and edited titles in this area.
- Memoirs/Personal Experience: I have both written and edited memoirs.
- Education: I’ve taught in a number of settings, written curriculum and teaching materials, and edited in the area.
I consider projects in any non-technical nonfiction area, especially if written for the general public.
